Our Mission
Trafford Schools exists to help parents make informed decisions about schools by bringing together admissions guidance, school information, comparison tools and independent editorial content in one place.
Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family will make, and it's rarely straightforward. Official data is scattered across different websites, admissions rules vary from school to school, and it's hard to know which sources to trust. We built Trafford Schools to change that – a single, dependable place to start.
What Makes Us Different
Trafford Schools brings together several things that are usually found in separate places:
- Detailed school profiles – official data, Ofsted history and admissions information for every school we cover, kept current.
- Admissions guidance – plain-English explanations of how admissions actually work, from application to appeal.
- School comparison tools – a way to weigh schools side by side using the same structured data, not opinion.
- Independent editorial guidance – explanations and analysis written and reviewed editorially, separate from commercial relationships.
- An Education Partner directory – local tutors, uniform suppliers and other services, always clearly separated from and labelled apart from our editorial content.

None of this works if parents can't trust what they're reading. So we hold to a small number of rules, without exception:
